You don't by chance know if any of the PnP's around here have a 240D wreck anywhere?

At that price, I may have to go hunting for a 616 in good shape...

Euro W116

North San Jose yard has a nice Euro w116 has not beeen stripped yet except the head lights I got it has very kool bumpers.

about a month ago

About a month ago I saw a wrecked 240d in the newark yard thats about 30 min from you.

Cool...was it an auto or a 4 speed?

If it's a 4 speed and if it's tan or gold in color, I may have seen that car (and, actually, gotten some parts from it)...although that would have been over 6 months ago now.

Unfortuantely, IIRC the body was okay, which implies that it's in there 'cause of a bad engine...

Thanks for the heads-up! I may have to go take a look.

W116's are a very common chassis in the south florida yards right now. Say at least 10 today- whadda want? PM me....

Potomac German has no W116's and only has parts that cross fit over. But are good for the 123 chassis crowd and other newer ones. W116s are fairly rare in this area. Have only seen about 4 others in last year and a half.

Hey now, there's one about 25min from me (Dallas one)! Wonder what they have over there?!?!

I'd like to scoop up a W123 chassis 2.4 NA motor or a 3.0 NA and do the swap.

Anyone been to the one in Dallas?
