i continued the search

" I've not had any problem removing the 8mm allen head bolt securing the clutch to pulley using just a plain 'ol allen key. Some folks have reported using a cheater pipe on an allen key to generate enough force to break the bolt free." this sound correct?

allen head

I shortened the Allen about 1/2" to allow easier access to the fastener and used a 8mm. socket on the end of a couple of 1/4" extension pieces to engage the allen wrench and provide access and leverage.

Take a look at Baum Tools they show all sorts of tools relating to this area, perhaps one of them will give you your answer?
