Sick people
After trying to get my heat working in my otherwise "perfect" 95 E300D,I replaced the ACC Monovalve, guess what :nothing happend...shop cleaned the
whole heating system,lines,core...and found DIME SIZE RESTRICTION that somebody installed on purpose right before heater line gets to the firewall, took it out, heat works line new...just 600$ out of my pocket(400$ useless part and 200$=3 hour labor),sick people to restrict a heater ,when you can just turn it off...climate control works perfect, will close the heat no problem. |

Watch the car carefully now. some one may have installed that due to a leaking heater core. Keep checking the AC drain for antifreeze as well as any sweet smell coming form the heater vents during operation. If so then they did it due to the heater core haveing a leak.

Car had a bad climate control unit bfore I bought it,previous owner replaced it,as you know a bad climate will let the heat on,all the time,so,in the summer before he fixed it he instaled a restriction...to keep the heat out, forget to remove it after that, did not tell me anything.
