I have noticed that in the cooling mode at lower fan speeds my center vents on the dash shut off. I have replaced the control unit and the vacuum actuator and all seems well as the center vents work fine at higher fan speeds. I was just wondering if this was normal operation. Unless I missed it the test procedure, the manual doesn't seem to address this. The 83 300 SD doesn't seem to have this "feature". Not really a problem but might be an indication of one in the future.
