front end bump rattle e300d
 

The front end has some rattling when I hit bumps etc. Could this be this the same common sway link problem like on other cars? I just remedied the sway link rattling problem on my concorde and on my caravan by replacing the sway links.. Anyone else experience this? Thanks for any suggestions... Indy

Well I'm not sure what year you have, but I'm going thru this currently in my '99. Knocking over slow speed bumps etc. I have the sway bar off the car and last night was replacing the bushings and sway bar links. I can't get the new links on they are so tight :rolleyes: :p Tonight I plan on conquering the links , hehe.

Let me know what you had to do to solve your problem and if the noise went away it would be greatly appreciated. Did you just start pulling it apart?, or are you following a diagram/plan/manual on how to replace these?... I have a 97... Thanks.. Indy
