82 300 CDT Advice Please!

Total newbie here, please bear with me.
I just bought an 82 300CDT with 124k miles and wonder if you could help me out. (Really like it alot!)
I am looking for the window "wipes" the weatherstripping on the outside for the front and rear windows. Any source you know of?
Also the ignition cylinder...hard to turn, want to replace it but how do I get it "keyed to doors?"
Also how do I test my Aux fan? I have not seen it run, and my temperature guage stays at just above 80. So Maybe it is not gettting hot enough?
Also fuel economy is only 16mpg? any suggestions greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Go to the dealer with your title or registration (to prove you own the car) and the VIN and get a replacement cylinder with key. The key is made off your Vin and will be the correct key for your car.

Does the A/C work? If so, running it for a few minutes on the coldest setting such cause the aux fan to come on. If it doesn't come on with a few minutes of A/C use, then you need to start tracking down the problem. Could be as simple as a fuse.

Thanks, that will work for the key.

A/c was converted (2001 according to records of previous owner) and blows real cold and great! Checked fuses, all appear good, but am going to relace them any way.

Any suggestions on the window wipes would be greatly appreciated. I have found (mostly through coming here and reading) some really great part sources... but now window rubber.

If you do find them. I'd be interesting in a source as well. I also need the seal for the upper portion of the door as well.

I've found that those 2 things are nearly impossible to find. I've got some lower panel rust that I'd like to take care of. However, it doesn't make any sense to mess with it until I can stop the water from getting in there.

Seals

Spoke with a local indy shop here the other day, turns out they have a source, the front windows were only like 12.95 each or something close...but the rears were...
$49.00 EACH! I e-mailed fastlane, and spoke to Phil today, hopefully he can do better at least on the rears.
I guess because there were not that many made?

Joe

UPDATED---Phil has them at fastlane

Front doors 1237250265 Seal $12.50 each
1236730965 Rear left $46.50
1236731065 Rear right $46.50
