Two interesting ebay cars

Seems a little shady, I don't even know MB ever made a M/T 140 car.

"These diesel engines are known to go over 500K miles. This one is no exception." Whoops, it's already there!

Does it come with a pipe to smack the starter every time you need it to run?

The ad for the manny tranny S-class is "interesting". If I had a really special car to sell, I'd certainly do it like that - leave out all of those interesting details, give almost no useful description, and then suggest that the prospective buyer call for details.

Yeah, that's the ticket! Pay for ad space and then not take the opportunity to show off the goods to their best advantage. Solid gold selling strategy!

You realize, of course, that it does not take a genius to become a used car dealer. In fact, you might observe, with little effort, that the opposite is typically the case. If they can set up the ad with the correct number of doors and the correct number of cylinders, they are doing better than average.

I fed the VIN into EPC and it says 5-speed auto, silver over over mushroom.

MB never put a manual in the S class, as far as I know.

Someone should call this guy and mess with him.

Actually M-B did make several with manual transmission. As a kid, I was driven in one quite often, the one owned by my uncle - not in Europe or in the USA by the way.
