HELP: I need a mechanic in N. Virginia

I'm picking up my "new" 99' E300TD this weekend in Northern Virginia. It is located just north of Centreville, VA. Can anyone suggest a good shop to do an inspection in that area? The MB dealer there is closed on Saturdays. I need this done Saturday morning. Thanks for any help. I really appreciate it.

Thats in my General neck of the woods but no....you get a bump but you definately want someone who is familial with these.......perhaps you can call the American Service Center in Arlington VA......they have a good rep and deal heavily with Mercedes............But I have no personal experience with them first hand.........They are going to do the alignment of my 300SD when all the roadsalt has been washed off the roads.

I am hesitant to recomend Silver star Motors becasue they charged me $150 to press in two new balljoints...........kkep in mind the old joints were already off and the knuckles where stripped when I carried them into the shop.

I think that was twice what a fair price would have been.

I called the American Service Center and they are not open on Saturdays. Unfortunately, no Benz service centers are usually. Anybody else know of a good place?

You might want to call Silver star motors and ask them if they can check it out for you.....I think they are open on saturdays....if memory serves me right...and see how much they would charge..........I never heard bad things about their work.....only hought their prices were out there on labor.

Have heard nothing good about HBL mercedes in Tysons corner, VA (vienna technically) And that included a person wo used to work there.

No problem.....the day I was there must have been a floating holiday I took......to work on the car...I apparently just thought it was a saturday in hindsight.
