R12 ---> R134A refer capacity?
I read that it's 80% of the R12 (via the search!) but what was the original capacity? I did some searching and came up with around 30-34oz in total of 134A... sound right?
If that's correct, I'd add 4oz of oil and the remainder refer? I have a minute leak in my system, but until I can fully repair it I need to have the ability to dry my air. Thanks!

Model?
Some Mercedes have a placard in the engine compartment which specifies refrigerant capacity. What model do you have?

The placard in my '82 300D indicates a refrigerant capacity of 2.6 lbs R-12. When converting to 134, 85% seems to be a commonly used figure.
I converted to 134. The results were not impressive. |

Yeah I searched a good deal more here today, seems I'm going to stick to R12 and rebuild what I have. Maybe you can help - W123 (1984) AC parts list...
