Took out a brand new injectors for my NB TDI and before installing them had a friend check the pop and one of the four failed by popping about 400 PSI to soon. When the stock ones were out we checked those (Bosch) and they were all within about 100 PSI of each other, but none within about 50 PSI of each other.

From reading this enite thread I am under the assumption that a 27mm deep socket socket is wide enough to clear the return nipples on either side?

Also I am assuming that the flat sides where the socket holds onto the injector is near it's base?

I'm curious as my injectors need to be serviced. I wanted to remove them on my own and take them to either my indy or Bosch center to have them serviced then reinstall them on my '97 E300. Anyone ever removed injectors on their OM606 yet?

I went through the information that Alldata has to remove the injectors and it seems simple. Although they never mention this 27mm deep socket or the likes...
