You know, I've considered from time to time getting a batch of customized pens or pencils made up with "DO NOT STICK IN EYE" printed on them.

Some might advise against this, of course - "You mean you KNEW they were dangerous, and you STILL failed to properly secure them? Ooohh, you're gonna get sued!"

More seriously, though, the "Mind your head" sign sort of appeals to me on another level. There ought to be a shorthand way of reminding someone that he should use his brain, as it's a most useful complement to all of the safeties, interlocks, procedures, personal protective equipment, etc. that the world might devise.

I need one of those for the W115s -- I whack my head on the grille about every other time I stick my head under the hood on them!

When you ride on a British Aerospace Jetstream 31/32 with a regional airline, there is a placard on the top of the airstair as you climb into the airplane that reads "Mind Head". Those Brits...............

... it seemed like a good idea at the time?!?!

You have a good idea, but it is flawed. Let me explain a previous good idea that I read about. The local police DARE team passed out pencils to the high school that said "IT'S NOT COOL TO DO DRUGS"
Then as kids used them it read ".. COOL TO DO DRUGS" then eventually,
"DO DRUGS" Great idea by the boys in blue.

With some folks out there from the shallow end of the gene pool, you are heading towards, obviously... "STICK IN YOUR EYE"

Good luck with the project!!
