pump question
my 78 300D manual pressure pump on the lift pump works ok. is the handle suppose to lock down? mine stays "up" all the time inspite of me trying to lock it down.

it screws in to lock if its the old style. if it looks like a back hotdog on a stick then you have the updated one, and it doesn't lock down.

push down and turn clockwise to lock if you have the old style

thanks, i think i have the "hotdog" one that doesn't lock down. it's about an inch diameter and has a spring that holds it up.
