does anyone have an idea where to start on finding brushes for the blower motor on a 83 300sd? They are worn to the nubs and it's getting cold here in west NC. The guys at the parts houses weren't much on the idea of letting me prowl thru their stock to find something close that I could trim to the right size.

I found them at a basic hardware store. They were the correct size in terms of width but not breath, so I just filed them down on the grinder. I've done it twice and it seems to work.
