Mixing Regular Diesel With Ulsd?

Just found some stations in Los Angeles that now sell the ULSD. My question is...should I wait until my tank (now a little less than half full) is near empty to switch to the new diesel? Can I mix the old and the new? Anyone out there been using the ULSD long enough to have an answer?

And what effect does Redline have on the new ULSD? :confused:

Only difference in ULSD & LSD you have been using is the sulphur content and hopefully an addition of lub package to make up for lost lub properties of the sulfur.

The answer to the question, no it doesn't hurt to blend the fuel as for as engine is concerned.

The Redline will do the same for ULSD as your old diesel fuel.

ULSD = Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel
LSD = Low Sulfur Diesel

Not him; the new people reading that alphabet soup trying to guess where and why LSD (lysergic acid diethylamide), is going in the fuel tank. :eek:

Yep; that would be one weird ride to follow in a traffic jam. :eek:

Yup. I knew the difference. ;)

The ULSD is now being sold in California. But outside of OLDNAVY, any other opinions?
