need better fuel economy than a diesel?

than get your bids ready to save the world and bid on this.
for the price of about 40 300d's you could have this hunk of... technology?

http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=63741&item=4507286898&rd=1

any bidders?

I dissapointed he made no claims that this engine, like mercedes diesels, can go well over 500,000 miles. so it has lots of miles yet to go

Any black helicopters for sale?

This is one of those "perpetual motion machine", government suppressed technology, 200 mpg carburetor (on a Ford flathead LOL), "free energy from magnetism", Area 51, alien autopsy, black helicopter conspiracy technology carburetors in a sealed box.

I'll bet the seller even knows who "really" killed JFK, MLK, RFK, and Abe Lincoln.

You'd think somebody that had a piece of "technology" like that would at least know how to spell!

Now really, shouldn't he have claimed it ran on water and got 200mpg? At least that would be more believable!

Wasn't that featured in "The Lone Gunmen" tv show. Imagine that...hydrogen fusion in an oil can! Even better, you can cool it with a 65 year old radiator.

With a statement "AND HOW MANY PEOPLE OUT THERE WOULD LIKE TO AT LEAST DOUBLE THEIR GAS MILAGE?". So how did they arrive at a 200mpg estimate? Anyone on this forum get 100mpg out of their car short of towing it? Oh wait.....it's MILAGE....not mileage

That picture looks like a coolant heat exchanger fuel vapourizer system. You can find plans on the net to build them.
A guy not too far from here built one of those setups on a pickup truck with a small block and was consistantly getting over 80 mpg, but he did go through two sets of pistons before he figured out that he needed blower pistons and some high dollar valves on the thing to handle the high intake temps. I don't know how long the last engine lasted.

smilage

Luck and fortune favour me tonite as I have a 51 rebuilt ford flathead in the garage that only got about 20 smiles per gallon in it's heyday. Anyone know where I can obtain a can to sit on top of the carb? Already have some new old stock red heater hose. Perhaps we should not be so sceptical as these blocks were famous for cracks. Maybe it's a steam engine? Lets see, I million for what he has and auction is not over yet. Does anyone want to make me an offer? For less than half of what he's offered so far i'll gold plate mine for you. Engine runs wonderful. Oil changed religiously every sunday morning. No dissapointments here. Unlike other vendors that offer no warranty my miracle engine will be sold with manufactures spark plug warranty.
