Sticky GP Relay???
Sometimes my GP light does not come on, which in Boston is not good in December. Checked all the plugs. So last night I turned the key; no light. With the key in the power on position I ran around to the relay toward the front of the engine bay on the driver side, gave it a good whack, and heard a "click" sound from within. I ran back to the key, reset it back to off then back to on and whammo, GP light and great turn over at 35 degrees F. Can I pull that thing off and DeOxit5 the sucker or what? What gives? GPs are all new and tested with a multimeter. Wiring solid. Main fuse solid.

I burnish my relay contacts about once a year as a matter of routine. Check the GP fuse holder screws too. Sometimes they can work a bit loose and cause substantial current limiting. The same goes for the linking wire connections on the old loop style.
