Almost exclusively '60's and '70's classic rock (big Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, Cream, & Deep Purple fan), with a little bit of '80's and '90's semi-hard rock mixed in (some Metallica and Guns & Roses, and there's one Offspring song I like, among others).
My CD's that I keep in the car are all self-created from mp3's, except for one...Cream's 1968 "Wheels of Fire" album. I've never played any in the Benz for some reason, but I also have a few '40's big-band CD's (and even a record or two). BTW, before someone tries to accuse me of being old I'm 23... |

Mostly played in clubs that the young kids frequent. Kamil since I'm close I listen to the New KTU from NYC. I like the morning show and I also like the saterday night line up. Which means for the rest of the members here that I too listen to trance/house/hardcore and more. But I also like classic country music. Since I grew up with my parents listening to classic country(then just called country music)all the time. Here in the tri-state area the only county music station was taken off the air a few years ago. It s$%#ks not being able to listen to it anymore. While driving late at night I sometimes listen to some Jazz, it tends to make me look back on the nice moments in my life. On rare occasions I'll listen to Reggae too. Louis. |

I listen to mostly jazz (big band) classic rock, and the sweet sound of a turbo diesel!

I think of the diesel clatter as an awsome drum beat in the background.

NPR and the baseball game in the summer. Nothing makes a drive better than warm summer with sunroof open and the O's pounding the sox or yankees.
Oh yes, occasionaly silence, but only in the Diesel.

NPR, WEHN(a progressive rock station on LI) I get in eastern CT, and 880 AM for baseball in season. An occasional cassette tape, but nowadays that seems almost like 8-track. Remember those guys?

Usually NPR on the way to work.
I just fitted an MP3 CD playing head unit, and that's working out very well. The current CD has several albums by The Wedding Present, The Fall, The Clash - I became a teenager in the late '70's in England and that shaped my tastes. Lots of bands beginning The ... On really long trips I quite like to listen to the original Radio 4 broadcast of The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy, which I also have as MP3s, you can fit the entire thing on one CD. Kevin

Radio in my 300SD
Usually NPR for the news. For music it is Johnny Cash, Ramstein, Die Pritzen, Gaelic Storm, Tom Petty, David Dante, Ottawan, Montgomery-Gentry etc. etc.
Depends on what mood I am in. Sometimes cheese is the only way to go especially for those days at work that just don't make much sense!
