What kind of music plays in your diesel ?

We always discuss performance or something maintenence related. How about when everything is working perfectly and you are just cruising around listening to music. I am curious as to what most of you people listen to ?
Since I'm young and I'm from the northeast I listen to alot of club/trance/house & rap.

Most of you guys on here are older you probably listen to something totally different.....

I have XM and listen to mostly jazz, but I do listen to some new age, club/dance, XM Caffee, and some classical. When traveling and tired I listen to comedy & talk radio or news. Wife's Jetta also has XM Radio and she likes old time radio.

I lmostly listen to dance, some rap and everything else except heavy metal.

Kamil, I guess we have similar music taste. Do you listen to any freestyle artists, like Stevie B, Lil Suzie etc...?

Damn, I have to get a CD changer,,,sometimes I hookup my mp3 player via casette and the sound is so much better than radio.

Yep, I guess we do listen to the same music since I hate ROCK. I need to have some type of beat atleast, wheather it be slow or fast. There needs to be a beat, period.

Currently I have a strange mix. I am a classical piano nut, and play myself so the diesel always has a good collection of that. Plus Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass: Whipped Cream and Other Delights. And who can forget - Lonely Bull....

I'm probably closer to your selections.. This week has seen Leftfield and BT in the CD player, as well as some assorted underground hiphop and triphop. However, I've also got some classics like Cream for those warm sunny days. I also listen to NPR quite a bit.

Never commercial talk radio, rarely any country, rarely any 'pop', but other than that, just about anything goes. I just put in a new set of pioneer front speakers, and sorted out the Infinity 6X9s in the back, so I've got more of an incentive to keep the radio on. I'm going on a long trip soon, and need to have some music!

And of course, sometimes I just listen to the diesel music.

At the moment diesel music.

The radio is not working. I need to check into that. Recently did 7 hr., each way, without it.

Mostly light jazz, classical, and when the mood is right and I feel like singing along, classic rock (60's & 70's).

(BTW, I know I am showing my age, but what the heck is "trance" and "house"?)

My 300D used to play "Jingle Bells." But that was before I adjusted the valves.

I know the selections very well.... Great Choices......

==================================

Now I'm feelin' VERY Old............

Mostly (OK - Get ready for this folks) NPR

After that - Add Country and Classic Rock and that rounds out the selections.

Sirius is next - I'm a dealer and sell at just above cost.

NPR, news or classical.

I'm getting set in my ways, but I've always listened to NPR, from way back when they started in the early 70's. Nothing better.
