manual transmissions eBay (no interest)

I spotted this tonight and thought it might be of interest to some of the more hardcore wrenchers. I know NOTHING about the trannies or the seller. caveat emptor.

Just wanted to post a "head's up".

The 300D pressure plate and driveshaft would be the real gems in that auction.

The auction description did not state the years for the car these were pulled from.
Does anybody know what years the 300d came with a manual?

It stated non-turbo, so I would say it's 80 or earlier, unless it's a gray market or import.

Man, I would buy it if I thought it would fit....or I could get it...

Actually, I've already thought about this....

and, I'd probably buy 'em if they were closer. Unfortunately, the crating and shipping would make it too pricey to be worthwhile for me.

I also have a 1982 240D and it has a one piece transmission.and the 81 and back were two piece.....I just know Euro models are often very difference....gene2
