Diesel Territory
The spot where I used to park the 300SD is where the 300D resides now. The 300SD parks right beside it, but here's the result of years of starting up a diesel almost daily. This grass has been marked by... DIESELS!!! Anyone else have marks like this next to their driveway?

Before I "fixed" my oil pan problem, I would leave an oil spot anywhere I parked.
After I moved out on my own there was a 3' diameter oil cake where I parked in front of my home every day! Here I am visiting my parents one year later, and the spot is still there! |

Yep, we've got two oil spots about to become one giant oil spot where the diesels park. The exhaust just about killed that spot of grass.

Marked Spot
yes, I have one in the garage, where the morning exhaust hits the floor. Also countless oilspots in the driveway 'marking' the territory. Coincidentally, in the garage, I use cat litter to catch the drippings and periodically wipe, discard and cover new kitty litter

Thr trouble with kitty litter is that the neighborhood cats think it's for them to use.
