Anywhere between $1000 and $4500, depending on the condition of the body and interior.

I just bought an 82 300TDT with 245k, and a rebuilt tranny (less than 20k), and all new front end. It has no body damage and no significant rust, thought the paint is tired and oxidized. It has the third-row seat, and every stock feature works except for the power antenna. The interior is good, but not mint, a well kept 250k.

Sounds pretty similar to what you are looking at.

I paid 2400$ for mine, and felt like I was getting a very good deal. I was shopping for cars in the 2000$ to 3500$ range. Hope this helps! Good luck finding a good wagon. They are a little on the rare side, but are great cars, I love mine.

Peace,
sam

Wow, assuming there are no 'surprises' waiting for you like a thrashed SLS suspension or damaged front-end, 1500$ is a great deal. I'd say jump on it!

Feel out the seller, and see if it seems like they are dumping a liability, or if they are selling for more legit reasons... It can be hard to tell, but some times you just get a feeling. If any work has been done recently (the 20k transmission is a good sign, for instance) suggests that they aren't just trying to dump it, but rather meant the car to last.

Let us know how it goes.

peace,
sam
