What do you do when they dont take your advice on the Diesel Forum?

Believe me this Forum is 3000X better than any other car forum but sometimes you see quizzical stuff.. What do you do when they dont take your advice on the Diesel Forum? Today i saw someone tell someone else their W123 lighting was done by Fiber Optics.
I knew the exact solution to the guy's problem, I 've rewired those dashes 20 times, but he didn't want to listen. I may not be as good as Hatteras Guy, gsxr or Larry Bible or Pete Burton,or Diesel Dog but I am good, take my word for it...
(1) Let them fry thier own fish
(2) Go along with the science fiction, and tell them the fiber optics sytem is connected to the vacuum system by a fiber vacuum transducer
(3) Get corroborating posters to help..
