new 300TDT in my neck of the woods on eBay

One owner, 1983, highish mileage (just broken in!!!) at 290,000, and a buy it now of $7500, which seems mighty high to me. Looks decent in pictures, on the other hand they claim 35mpg, which can't be correct.

If anyone's interested there are a couple of us in the area.

But thes motor are known to go over 500,000 miles and the record holder was 1.3 million on original engine........bwaaaaaahahahahahaha.....

Looks good in the pictures....if it was 1/3 that price. Lotta stuff wears out in 290,000 miles.

He's not smoking anything yet. He is quite smart to put a high "buy it now" price. This gets everybody thinking that this vehicle has some value and that they might get a fantastic deal if they buy it for $5K.

The real question is the reserve price. If the reserve is reasonable, say $4K, he will be the one laughing all the way to the bank if it sells for $4K or above.

Let's see what it does.
