Bio Diesel in Washington DC......................

Bio Diesel in Washington DC......................well almost just right across the river in Arlington. There is a Citgo just off Columbia Pike near the Pentagon and Ft Myer that Sells alternative fuels..............

I filled up with B20 yes thats B20 not B2 that is sold in Leesburg VA at the Liberty Station on Rt 7 business.

They have the 20% biodiesel Blend for $2.38 as of todays date of 1/8/05

Just an FYI for you local people are are interested.

Its a Navy BX station andtechnically nothing there is availible to the General Public..( I.E. People with no military ID card)...EXCEPT the alternative fuels.

That's great. Now the ONLY thing the public can buy there is an eco fuel. I love it.

We addressed that to a caller on the radio show this AM, where to buy Biodiesel at the pump.

Any pumps here in Colorado are either B20 or B100, no one does B2 at the pump, not even worth it.

Sounds like you're paying less than WE are for B20 though. Average here is $2.49/gallon. That's why I mix my own B50 for winter. Costs me about $2.07/gallon average.

I remember reading about it on a Biodiesel forum but last I heard they didn't have it yet.......was looking for another place to by some Ethiopian Curry and just happened to stumble upon the place. Remembered it was a station near the Pentagon, sow the white tank on a slab drove by adn sure enough it was B20............So I filled up....took $30 to fill it.......what was in the tank was B2 ........
