I got it home today.............
18 degrees today..................took the battery out of my 300SD put it in this one.......turned the key after the first glow cycle cranked it and it fired within 2 seconds............and idled smooth....no kidding.....on 2 year old fuel.......loaded it on the car trailer...........hint you guys........don't tell U-haul you are carrying a Benz they won't rent to you saying its too heavy......so I called back again and told them I was towing a honda..............Got it home with no issues......drove it off my trailer and into the driveway along side my pride and joy..............now to wait for warmer weather to give it a good going over to decide what parts to keep.......... Motor runs great with NO nailing....but did see fuel leaking profusly from the rear injector..........saw it when I was securing the car with straps from underneith.....before I shut it down.........no biggy, never spent the time to look closer. Real happy, its going to be put to very good use.
