Glad to see you made it without any incidents! I'm glad to see it went to a fellow diesel nut.. Enjoy it!

Congratulations on your new purchase! Thistle Green is not a regularly seen color like black or champagne is on the cars from this era. The 300SD listed in my sig has the same color exterior, although its badly in need of a repaint. Have fun with your "pocket rocket" manny tranny 240D.

For the picture junkies, here's a couple more. First is the moment I arrived after driving 14.5 hours on 1/29. That's the day they had snow and ice storms all along the east coast, so I was racing against it the whole way. Second is in the driveway next to Big Smokey yesterday. The car seems to be really happy at it's new home.

Well turbodiesel already showed the inside in a previous post, so I'll repeat one of his pics here. I haven't seen TheWarden around in a while - he'll go nuts over these cloth seats.

BTW John, I've fixed the locks and the left rear door. Got some Redline MTL on order that I hope will take care of that #2 syncro. Oh, and the missing bumper cap is available new for $35 so that's going on my next Fastlane order.

I actually like the color of that car a lot. Brings back memories of when I was younger.

It's kind of nice to see one that isn't blue or beige on the inside.
