83 240D Parts Car
There is a local 240D parts car for $150 that I'm looking at picking-up. Does anyone need any parts, I'm trying to figure out if there is enough interest in parts to make it worth my time.
-300k but runs well (was a daily driver) -4-speed manuel transmission -New clutch and cylinder -Palomino interior in fair condition -No Rust but extensive body damage, medium hit in the front, sideswiped, garbage trucked backed into rear quarter. -Non working A/C but heater works That's all I know. Would have made a great car worth fixing if the rest of the body wasn't as bad.

Adam,
That would not only be worth your time, but would help out many folks. Heck, axle shafts, starter, radiator, alt, ps pump, inj. pump, etc.... That doesn't even take into account the parts associated with the standard tranny. Many parts light enough to ship, and many good parts for local pickup. I'd buy 5 of those at that price! JL

mdlwolf may be in the market for a motor. Plenty of reasons to snatch up that car. I also noticed that it has the high velocity passenger side view mirror.

I'm looking for the OEM oil separator if the car has one. This is the separate, self-contained cylinder-like black plastic unit. Let me know!

Well I think thats enough to get me to do it, problem is the weather. Frigid temps and a foot of snow can really put a dampner on things. I'll let you guys know if/when I get it dragged to my house and begin the disassembly.

wood from console.
heater core *blower fan and motor*new new new radio power antenna? any functioning interior lights and bulbs sun visors left and right sunroof headliner hood release does it blow smoke? if not dibs on the motor. hey i will come over witrhg the mini van and get the stuff. gives me a good reason to meet mhunter and maybe the detroit group.
