Spring Compressor Tool on Ebay?

Any opinions as to the quality of this spring compressor tool on Ebay?

The price looks ok, but is it a good quality tool, or is it junk...?

There are some good threads about types and quality of spring compressors... be sure to find RLeo's comments... he owns one type and I think has used the other..

Yikes!
"Don't be fooled by "names" get the same tools for less!"
And NO brand name mentioned!
For a mere $250!
Good grief, some people will sell anything....

Autozone will let you borrow theirs with a deposit
I think its 40 bucks

Be careful if you buy this spring compressors are very dangerous to use
Remember how powerful that spring is, so take your time and only compress the spring as far as you have to

Use AZ's only if you don't value your head.

Unless the eBay fellow can/will give you the manufacturer's name and you can do some research on it, I would stick with either a Klann or SirTools compressor, preferably the Klann.

I own a SirTools unit and, while it is plenty sturdy and gets the job done, because of it's design (similar to that eBay unit) it is annoyingly difficult to set up correctly to use.

just my .02
