can hot diesel fuel damage the IP?

For all you WVO guys out there...

Many of us are running heated fuel tanks and fuel lines for WVO. With WVO temps 150-200'F before hitting the filters and IP.

Are there any issues or problems with just diesel fuel at these temps?

Diesel is very thin at room temp by comparison...is diesel too thin at high temps? Can the IP be damaged by high temp diesel? Does high temp diesel have any lubrication anymore?

I am asking about strictly diesel, no WVO at all, in a heated system.

Hot diesel fuel will not damage your MFI pump.

One of our resident tinkerers has stated that his 85 300CD gets better fuel economy by heating the diesel without any noticeable power loss.
