Probably not as much as you think. The single most expensive items to replace are included - the new pistons. The rest of that car is a matter of patience, time, and skill - none of which I posess in sufficient quantity to tackle that car.

well lessee here.....saturn for sale.....get that to the rice crowd. '75 harley choppa.....oughtta sell well here is wis. sierra p-u???? well just sell it. now if the honda stays sold and the payments made for the prop tax then the other three can go for the rebuild of the 170.

my wife thinks these are beautiful cars. never a car person before her 240d she is just as interested in these cars as i am. it is very weird to hear her talking to other wives of diesel owners about car stuff knowing neither cared for cars before driving diesels.

go for it doc.

As much as I would have loved that 170D I just don't have the money to deal with it.....

Yes the Saturn is up for sale.....

The Harley............no way.......I have ridden it since 1983, I've ridden to the Black hills rally and back on it....its been all over Europe..........too many memories in it to sell.

The truck?..........It has 73,000 original miles on it....I bought it with 67,000 and the previous owner was Arlington County, VA.........maintenace records verified the milage. I have had it about 5 years....and only drove it 6,000 miles. Last year it was stripped down and any rust was cut out and preplaced with new steel, New interior, No bondo in it....and a $2,500 paint job last year.

If I got $10,000 for it I would sell it.

Not being mentally quick I think a lot of kids hopefully with 0 feedback are bidding on ebay. Most never pay but unfortunatly the legitimate bidders are drawn along. This is yet another reason for private auctions as they hide the status of the bidders. As soon as I detect all the zero bidders I drop vendor an email to the effect it's too bad but cannot bid on your item on this basis. At that point sometimes other bidders follow suite and he then has a choice. Is it really an auction anyways with high bids present days prior to auctions end. Think ultimatly could be the downfall of ebay auctions mind the quality and inherent falsehoods that are prevelant when description of cars comes up. Several worthwhile suggestions have been posted on this site already. Think outright fraud is increasing rapidly as well. Never am against zero bidders as a person has to start but the amount of zero bidders changing identity with no real policing of ebay is now epidemic in my opinion and i have totally withdrawn for last while. So will probably not do an ebay "deal" when my hunt for a good 603 starts. Perhaps will try to find one owned by a psychiatrist as perhaps it's head will be in good shape. Expect it to be quite a search though when it starts. Always look around site to see how many other cars the same zero bidders are simultainiously bidding at time. One I noticed had bids on seven cars going that I found easily. Or are the vendors arranging this sometimes?
