I think I have 4 temp senders????
1982 300TD
there seems to be 4 different temperature senders on my engine. At the moment only two have any wiring. one is on the thermostat housing and has no wires...EGR???? one is on the front of the engine and has wires...Temp Guage??? one on the side of the block has no wires.???? about 3-4 inched back on the side of the block is the fourth sender with wires.???? any help to label these sensors?

I recognize three out of four but not sure what each one is for. But I have a question for you...About the two sensors by the IP, where do their cables hook to on your's?
