83 300d trans shift problem
 
trans sliped ; had rebuilt; now shifts at mutch to high rpm in each gear & downshifts to next lower gear to soon; trans guy cant figure out. HELP HELP HELP!!! NEED CAR SOON

I think you do better checking in the diesel forum. Serch under transmission. There is lots of stuff in there about adjusting the shifting.

Do a search for "Bowden cable", either in this section, or the Diesel section.
I am sure it will cure your ailment :)
