Hello everyone. I have a major maintenance marathon planned for my recently aquired 1984 300D Turbo. I have searched and printed many posts for what all I will be replacing. One of those items is the transmission mount. The part I received is 123 242 0413 which is the transmission mount with the oval in the middle of it (on my CD manual it calls this part the engine mount with stop). My question is, is this the correct part for this year model car (the CD manual says it isn't, but I trust this forum more than the manual)?

Post your vin and engine number .... that may help....
Did you ask Phil at Fastlane about the numbers ?
Perhaps they have a 'updated' the number for some reason.
Check the title descriptions at Alldata.com for your car make and model...they may show something which would suggest a change put out in the Technical Service bulletins... make note of the number and title of the TSB and check back here or your local dealer to see what it says...

The proper part number for your car is 123 240 25 18. The mount you got is for early model 240D's.
