Need to buy new voltage regulator
 

Could somebody reccomend a place online to a buy a Voltage Regulator in the alternator for my '92 300SD 3.5L ? Thanks.

Thanks, I did check. Looks like they sell Alternators, but not Voltage Regulators.

They do .....I have bought regulators from them for my 300SD, true its a different generation car. But let me see if I see one for yours.

I found this Bosch voltage regulator here. Strange thing is, it's good for most W140 except the 1992 300SD which is not listed. Could someone confirm this ? What would be the part number of this Bosh regulator ? Thanks.

He doesn't have the regulators in the Engine Electrical section as he should
. You may have to plunder around the website to find them,but they are there.
Also a VERY limited selection of parts.

This is what Kragen has, and neither is Bosch. I was told KAE of Germany is the one to have, but couldn't find it.

Depending on your engine # the part numbers for your regulator are:
002 154 79 06 or 002 154 85 06. Fast Lane should have both numbers available.
