80' 300sd Where is Terminal Block??!!

Help! I'm new to benz and not mechanically inclined at all and I need to know exactly where the starter is located (a photo would be very helpful) and how I can attempt to jump it assuming my problem is not the starter itself. ie. Where exactly is the terminal block on my car, which terminal powers the starter, how to jump it... At least this way I can hone in on the problem. Already looked on passenger fender and found nothing that resembles terminal block. found one on driver side but no idea what it does.
Car started getting flakey a few weeks ago and now I either get a click from starter after holding key in start position for 30+ seconds. Checked/cleaned battery terminals already but not sure where to find the starter. Also read that old bosch starters have trouble starting when warm. PLEASE HELP!

no start

First thing is to try to jump start with cables and a known good battery (or another car) There is an plastic box usually on passengr side under hood next to engine. This is maked with an plus sign. (positive) starter cable red to this and black cable to metal engine part usually a metal hanger for hoisting engine. If car starts, it s the battery, worth checking alternator at supply store or garage. (Sears does this for free) cant help past this point. good luck, Abe G
