Broke Glow Plug Harness
Well I managed to break one of the ring terminals off of my glow plug harness. It's the ring that connects to the first glow plug. Can anyone provide some advice?
I guess I'm going to cut into the wire's taut covering, clip off the end of the part that's still attached, and put a new ring on. Maybe slather some Vaseline on the exposed wire and cover it up with some electrical tape. At least until I get some heat shrink. Anything else I should be considering, seeing as this is a very important wire?

I'm not sure what the vaseline is going to do for you. If you buy heatshrink large enough to go over the ring terminal it might be too big to shrink tightly over the wire. Best to put the heat shrink on first then the ring. I always solder my electrial connections that are exposed to the weather.
