Interesting sounding 300D 4 sale in the Atl area
ad reads
MB 300D, 1983, original owner, all records, restored, immaculate - $3500. The # is (404) 408-0844 I do not have any interest in the car but would more than likely be up there checking it out if I were not building a "hobby $hop";). |
Whoa, I gotta call that. Thanks for the tip.
...343,000 miles; no rust, 3-year-old repaint, new AC that works, transmission rebuilt at 225,000. I'll be looking at it tomorrow morning :) |
I typically read the Atl paper on Saturday mornings specifically for the car ads. Let us know how it turns out:).
|
I'll certainly post an after-look report :) I'm also looking at one in Gaffney, SC tomorrow early afternoon, so it may be a double-feature.
|
engatwork, I'm about to post a thread describing this car :)
|
alright:)
I've been wondering if you were able to get over there and take a look. thanks |
I also looked at this one today, which was really pretty decent. Paint faded a bit on the roof and one clackety shock, but otherwise nice, and absolutely rust-free. I also had someone run me a carfax on it, and it was a two-owner car, always in the Carolinas. Acceleration was a little slow; I bet a valve adjustment and banjo-fitting leaning would do it wonders. But I found the Atlanta one more interesting :)
