Yea really, I wonder what were the Germans thinking when they stuck that tiny engine into that good looking macho truck. Perhaps it's true as some already suggested in this thread. That this truck is probably heavily geared...much like a farm tractor. Hence we can expect these beasts to be about as slow. I guess they realized this too, given the truck's old age and extremely low mileage. But it would still make a great conversion project for a bigger diesel from a 350SDL. All it takes is money, lots of it

That nice blue paint job reminds me of my 28hp diesel 3 cylinder New Holland Tractor

If I ever add a 307 or a 409 to the fleet (and I will some day), I'm hanging a slow vehicle traingle on the back. If someone doesn't like the speed I'm running, they can KMA and pass.

Hey look!! Something actually slower than my Sonoma!

I might even be able to beat it hauling the Kubota behind on the trailer!

I'd still love to have that. Go ahead. Tailgate me. Unless you're driving a Hummer, I'm not going to feel much if you hit me from behind.
