Well, I sent in the application for my high mileage badges...

And I sent it via certified mail with a return receipt request. I tracked it, and it arrived in Montvale, NJ 07645 yesterday around 4PM. I'm not sure if it has arrived at One Mercedes Drive yet. But, about how long should it take before my badges arrive? I've read 3-6 weeks, even months About how long did it take from mailing out the form until you got your badges?

Your post doesn't lift my spirits as I just called MB today for the application form. I did get a human to talk to and she said the form would take 7-10 days to get here. When and if I do get my badge I'll let you people know.

Good luck to you all on getting your badge. It took over 3 months for me to get mine.

It went something like this.

MB: "We shipped it last week. We will ship it again."
MB: "Badges are on back-order."
MB: "We are out and the badge is being redesigned."

After months of double talk, I found one person willing to help.

MB: "We found a small supply we will ship one out."

Have fun!

Here's the latest from my version of BadgeQuest '05:
I called AGAIN, and they said they'd shipped the certificate (which I never got, for the THIRD TIME), but the badge was ... drumroll please ... on backorder. He said they would be in in two weeks. He also said they have changed shipping carriers, as they had problems with the last one (really? problems?). I asked if I could send a check to pay for a trackable shipping method, and he said no, that it would surely get there with the new shipping carrier. He said he wasn't sure by what method it would be shipped, but that it was, indeed, new.

So let's hope it wasn't a load of crock, and I'll get el badgo within a couple weeks. Bo's grille is just begging for one!

They are a little backed up - helping a forum member across the pond get one. However, they did send me a copy of my "window sticker" from my car which is very cool I found it remarkable they actually called to tell me they were putting it in the mail. Wonder if Ford would do that on an 18 year old car

I got my badge about 3 weeks after I sent the application in. That was back in 2002 though.

I called the Mercedes 800 number. It took 3 weeks to get the forms (My TD needed both badges) and about 10 minutes for me to get to the local MB dealer to have them signed.

I waited 34 days to get them.

H-boy
I have a badge, which I am never going to install. I personally don't want it cause it really wouldn't fit the motif of my car.
Want it, beep me on the Q/T
