Urgently need part
3 Attachment(s)
My simple rear brake job has been a disaster so far! I now need an axle hub nut (see pic). Upon inspecting FastLane, sedan and wagon seem the same. I paid LARGE $ when I first bought this wagon to an indy to install axle and RR wheel bearing kit. Hub nut was left loose, apparently due to thread damage on axle nut. I'm really not sure if the bearing kit is even correct, but I need an axle nut to start at least. A HUGE thank you to the person who let me borrow removal tool (not sure if you want your name published). It worked great and I simply wouldn't have been able to remove it otherwise.
Thanks for any help. Jimmy |

Sounds like offers I can't refuse. One of these days I may even get to drive the wagon down there. I usually have to pay someone to go lay in the mud and water, so what a deal this will be! It will just have to at least be above 50 degrees though. I'll email yall....
Thanks, Jimmy |
Be sure it is not on an " Ozone Alert " day... would not want to push Austin into those yearly emmisions checks with a car from the Dallas area... would not be fair....

Greg,
The silver car with the good engine is the one w/o axles and is the one that I'm thinking Jimmy should get the hub off of. When that happens, it effectively will be a 'fixture' in your pasture. Is it where you want it? Forever? |
Dang ! I just got through pulling the ones out of the WHITE car...
|
Sure...

Randy,
have you worked your parts cars locations to blend in with Greg's "metal collection"? I wouldn't want them to look out of place. Greg, did you pull the hubs and calipers off of your wagon? Yall decide the victim, I'll go from there. Also, if yall want me to remove anything for you while I'm at it, that's the least I could do. It will be another good chance to see my favorite little 240! I think your ozone levels will be OK as long as I don't bring the wagon down during summer. The colder months let me add to an already lower ozone warning level. AND, it's not like it'll be on the road anytime soon... :( JL |
