Anyone seen any all weather or rubber mats

for 123? I need something to make sure I save the carpet and the cargo area in my old wagon. I know there is no factory all weather mat for 123, but does weather tech make something that works? And is there something that wil work in my cargo area (with the second seat up)? Thanks for any help you can give...

Have you tried the allweather mats from MB for a W202 (c-class)? They should fit. I used them in my 190E for years. Ask your dealer if you can order some and if they don't fit - don't buy them. I think they are somewhere around $70.

I got a generic set of 4 black rubber mats at wally world but they don't cover the floor area very well. I'm going to buy some coco floor mats from performance products to put on top of them.

I would not recommend the coco mats. Over time they will wear the carpeting from the back of the mats.
I have seen people use Oriental type rugs (the small type you place in front of a door) - it may be a little over the top but maybe not for a Mercedes. They are cheap if you buy them from a discount store like BigLots or Value City. They are polyester so they are durable and liquids don't soak through. When they get dirty throw them away.

That's an idea. I think the oriental rug things would warm the interior up nicely and add to the comfort.
So the backing of the cocos' a little rough you say?

My '82 240D had factory rubber mats. Don't know where they came from- the orig. owner picked the car up in Germany.

Yes, these have been ...

readily available in Europe for years. Not interested in anything but the all weather/rubber style. I threw out my last set of Coco's with my 8 tracks. Junk. I was really hoping that someone had bought some from McNeill /Weather tech and could confirm that they fit...

You can get rubber all-weather SUV mats at Target and WalMart, these are dandy, I have them in my '85. I use cheapy woven rugs in my SUV just to keep the dirt off the carpets and the carpet floormats.

I like the oriental rug idea, though.

autozone

I bought a 'cheap' set of suv/truck mats from auto-zone. They fit pretty good, they were good and long. Made out of heavy rubber, it did the job for me. They come in different colors, the dark sand matched my 300TD pretty well. Check them out
