Personally, I want the least amount of obstructions infront of my lights. Each lens should cut down performance by 15%...and thats if the lens is free of optics. If it has lens optics (lines on lens) they will change the pattern of the light causing glare to others and reducing performance for the driver.

Im a bit of a lighting nut, so I am willing to make sacrifices to obtain good visibility.

Got a price from Morette

I finally received a reply from someone at Morette USA. The price for a 124 conversion set is $694.75. Pretty steep by my standards. There was no tech info in the email, so I don't know if that includes actual lights or just the housings, etc.

The email address was tagged with moretteusa.com, but the website is still under construction and has no info. As much as these conversions are of interest to me, I think I'll pass for now. Very expensive, and zips worth of tech info available. I'm always suspicious of gear when you can't find out the details.

Rgds,
Chris W.

Its good be sceptical about these products. If I didnt trust my source for these, I wouldnt be intrested in them either.

French companies I have encountered do not seem to put forth the effort that more customer friendly American companies.

Their old website had exploded views of their products so you could order specific service parts.
