Ebay: Fouth times a charm?
 

First this guy wants $6600, and he lowers his buy it now and reserve (they were the same):

Then he wants, I believe it was $5800 or more:

Still no takers. So he goes even lower. I think this was $4800 originally.

And yet still no one will buy his *Mint* car. So it's not mint anymore (at least in the header description):

Will this car ever sell? I wonder if there is a serious problem with it. Carfax could be revealing.

This car has real leather seats, not MB tex as is usually the case with 124s.

Did anyone hear that MB anounced no more leather seats unless special order!

I offered $500, but the first bidder apparently wants it more than me. I was outbid. :mad:

He actually sold it here, but, no actual purchase?? :confused:

Probibly a zeros feedback bidder playing games.....but on a private auction how will we ever know if it wasn't someone who ran away when he saw it......or some 12 year old screwing ebay vendors....

could also have been a false sale used to bump up his feedback, but with feedback for private auctions only showing "private" instead of the item numbers, we'll never know.

Actually, what was announced was that M-B is now willing to accept special orders of its top of the line vehicles with synthetic, not leather, seats for those who feel like the usage of leather is bad towards the animals killed to obtain its raw materials.
