I spoke with a guy this afternoon and he has for sale a 1978 240D. The engine was rebuilt around 30,000 miles ago. He says its a decent car. I am going to check it out tomorrow. He is only asking $500 for the car so it may be alright. Interested? Let me know.

Also, not to hijack a thread, a guy has a 1982 300SD for sale with a blown head gasket. Black on Black with Euro headlights. It's no prize winner but I have seen much worse. He is asking $500 or best offer IF he still has the car.
