Locks won't turn, 82/85 300DT
pretty much sums it up, both driver and passenger locks are stuck solid on the 85. Keys goes in with some effort, but neither lock will turn, tried both the square and oval key.. i'm guessing that the fact that the locks will go up and down automagically when i manually push/pull the driver door pull is good am I looking at lock cylinders ?
Mike, 85 300D, no locks but working security system 82 300D, locks work great.... |

Assume you have tried a good penatrating oil ? Give it a few days to work before condeming the locks. Also reapply the penatrating oil daily. If by chance they free up do not forget to lubricate them properly. Nothing to lose really. Sounds like just lack of maintenance probably as both sides appear stuck.
