4 speed convertion on a 123 body
 
I have a 4 speed mercedes trans that I pulled from a 240D parts car a while back. Will it bolt right up to a 5 cyl turbo-diesel? I would like to mabey put it into my 300D or even in my 300SD. What is involved? Thanks a bunch!

The quick answer is no a 240d trans is not a straight bolt in but it can be done....see above.
