1977 300D Ignition Tumbler
Went to change out my ignition tumbler today with new. I have the type I
unit. After I pulled off the metal and plastic collars, I could the life of me not figure out how to put the wire piece into the "slot" There is no slot on the type I I believe. Do I just move it to the radio #1 position and try to pull with the key in the ignition. I did not want to push my luck so I packed my bags. Any advice on how to remove and while you are at it how to put in. The MB manual in one of its rare moments was lacking on information on this Type I unit. Thanks Tom Scordato |
