Exterior trim on my 300 sd
When I bought my car two years ago it came with these pieces of trim that run the length of car . One straight line of the stuff running just below my door handles. Rubber strips mounted on a metal frame attached directly to the car. I have to say it has saved my car from a grocery cart or two, as well as any doors opening next to it. My question is what the hell is it and where did it come from? i cant rememeber seeing it on any other MB ever. I actually would like to replace the rubber on it because it is getting worn. Where could I find the stuff?
