Van,
So do you pull the VW on a car dolly? That's what my Dad does behind his motor home, is use a front wheel drive car and a car dolly. Good luck,

Larry,
I double checked with Remco, different people, differrent dates and was told it was good to go 4 down without any speed and distance limitations as long as it was a manual and not an automatic. One must always check every brand, model, drive train, and year.

For those that do not understand what can happen
 BTW this was at a stop sign at the end of a VERY long road in Alaksa in August.
