bosch inj tester

OK so came across an old bosch injector tester. Does anyone know how to use it??

Seems that with knob on the side all the way closed it will build pressure, even got an injector to fire. But I get nothing on the gauge. Am I missing something...or perhaps just a fubar gauge?

keep gauge closed off to test spray patterns, etc.
open slightly to check pop pressure.
closing the valve will save wear n tear on the gauge when you are rapidly stroking it to produce a good spray.

I think the FSM covers a very similar tool.

Two questions:
1) How much was it?
2) Once you get it dialed in (and hopefully calibrated) are you planning on going into the boutique injector business (Monarch/Bosio nozzle rebuilds)?
